Recipe Basket reads the video's own caption, the text the creator wrote, not the audio and not on-screen text. Whether that gives you a full recipe depends entirely on how the creator wrote it.
In the TikTok app, tap Share on the video, then Recipe Basket. Or paste the video link into Recipe Basket's Add screen.
When a creator writes the full ingredient list and steps in the caption (common on recipe-focused accounts), Recipe Basket structures it into a real recipe automatically, free, no credits used.
When the recipe is only spoken or shown on screen and the caption is just a short description, there isn't written text to extract from yet.
